Blood Slaughter Massacre (2013) Synopsis :
Ten years ago, Officers Fincher and Cobb were called out to investigate a noise complaint, and what they found was far worse; 24 people, murdered in cold blood. The murderer escaped, and the Havenwood Police Department covered it up, inventing a story about an out-of-control fire.Barely escaping with his life, Fincher tried to put it all behind him, by drinking it away. Now a Detective, he is investigating the death of two young girls. After meeting some of the local teenagers, Fincher gets a tip from the Coroner, telling him that the Ripper has returned to finish what he started a decade ago. With no one on his side, Fincher must find out how these girls fit into the Rippers plan, and stop him before it's too late........Plot: 10 years ago, Officer James Fincher narrowly escaped being killed at the hands of a masked maniac. Story: Blood Slaughter Massacre is an homage to 80's slasher movies. It was created in the vein of old slashers, stylized as though the movie had been released in the 80's, alongside the Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees films of the time. Featuring all the components that classic horror fans love, we run the horror gamut; A girl in the woods, a girl in the shower, the babysitter, the girl with her boyfriend, the drunken detective, the inept police department, the creepy old man with a warning, the one character who seems to know too much, and an iconic killer in a mask, The Ripper. I attended the world premiere of BSM in Manhattan's Lower East Side onMay 19th, 2013. I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detailto make this film look authentically 80's. Being an avid fan of thehorror genre, specifically from that time period, I have to sayeverything about this film gave me the warm and fuzzies. BSM haseverything a top notch 80's slasher should have including aninteresting background story which keeps you enthralled in thenarrative, a soon-to-be iconic antagonist, "The Ripper Killer", 80'sstyle score and soundtrack, and most importantly tons of gratuitousnudity and violence. The actors all bring their "A" Game with notableperformances by Matt W. Cody, Melissa Roth and Carmela Hayslett. Bottomline: If you are a fan of 80's Slasher Flicks than SEE THIS FILM!!!
