Story: Paul is plagued by horrifying visions of a malevolent entity. He discovers that a supernatural force in his home is negatively affecting his housemates. Beneath is a low budget independent feature and as such, it should notbe compared with a hundred million dollar picture from a major studio.
But let's be frank in saying many multi-million dollar films have comeout dry and forgettable. Horrifying in their crapulence even. DolphLundgren's Direct Contact cost a supposed SIX MILLION and it came outas one of the worst films ever made.
Judging Beneath by its minuscule budget and one man crew DavidHollands, who also wrote and edited the film, it's a fantastic work ofindependent cinema.
The story is intense enough to keep you looking at every corner of thescreen for the next untrained moment and yet the tone is light enoughto have you relax and enjoy the dialogue before the next grippinginterval.
